Excavations will continue in the Termas de Laverna

The excavations uncovered the Laverna Baths site thanks to the perseverance of the Escofet family on the Heretat Laverna estate.

A convinced Josep Maria Escofet decided to ally with the Arqueovitis archeology cooperative to see if the estate hid more elements of historical value.

The value of the remains of Roman baths in such a good state of conservation is an unusual event in the Alt Penedès. Given the findings of the Termas in the vineyard, the alliance with Arqueovitis will continue this spring and excavations will resume in the archaeological zone to consolidate the place, in addition to enhancing the value of the remains found during the 2020 campaign.
